Gasabo District: Introductory and orientation meeting on Integrated Community-Led Monitoring (iCLM) Model

Yesterday in @Gasabo_District, the @RwandaNGOForum, in collaboration with @RBCRwanda and with support from @GlobalFund, hosted an introductory and orientation meeting on Integrated Community-Led Monitoring (iCLM) Model, and iCLM System for community data management for HIV, TB and Malaria which brought together local leaders, healthcare Providers and community representatives affected by HIV, TB and Malaria.

It was a great honor to kick off this very interesting conversation with the presence of the high leadership of Gasabo District. It is a strong positive sign of
#collaboration #Partnership and #Ownership by Local Leaders.
Participants explored the iCLM system for community data management and formally established a Gasabo District iCLM Task Team which will play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation of iCLM Model and contributing to the solutions of identified issues that will be aiming to improve the quality of services delivered to Key and Vulnerable Populations/High Risk Groups affected by HIV, TB and Malaria.

In his remarks, the Gasabo District Executive Administrator (DEA) thanked Rwanda NGOs Forum and its partners for introducing this very important initiative which will support the improvement of quality of healthcare services and pledged continuous partnership and support throughout the iCLM implementation.

The meeting featured a demonstration of the iCLM data management software, showcasing its real-time data collection, analysis and reporting capabilities. This hands-on session highlighted how the platform simplifies the management of community-generated data, helping stakeholders understand its role in improving productivity, decision-making, and service delivery.

By prioritizing community involvement, the iCLM model for
#HIV , #TB and #Malaria promotes accountability, advocacy and a people-centered approach to overcoming barriers in health service delivery. It ensures that high-risk groups, including Key and Vulnerable Populations (KVPs), are actively engaged in improving the quality of services addressing HIV, TB, and Malaria issues. The iCLM initiative also will empower communities, strengthen accountability, improve health care and save lives.
